Ivy Galliher 4/20/2017 6:54:23 PM So sorry to hear the passing of Karen. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Karen was the sweetest person I ever met. When I first met Karen I was only 18 and thought she had the coolest job. I wanted to be just like her! Karen was a mentor and became a very good friend. She would always make you feel comfortable and she was always so easy to talk to. I will cherish the memories of us traveling together and all the fun we had. May she Rest In Peace. Karen you will be missed! Love you??? Ivy Galliher Ms. Eileen Grady 4/22/2017 3:38:09 PM So sorry to hear about Karen. I worked with Karen at CSM for years. I always looked forward to seeing her at the food shows, IDDBA, or RBA conventions. Since I'm out of Florida, I didn't get to see Karen real often. I enjoyed our chats as Karen was quick to compliment others on a job well done. She always had a smile for me. Rest in peace, Karen, you will be missed. Sharon Christe 4/24/2017 7:58:55 PM I don't know where to start, we lost a part of our dirty half dozen. To Ted, Wilma, Susie and family, I'm so sorry for your loss of your partner, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. I know she would not want us to grieve but to celebrate her life. I remember the day her and I planned my wedding cake, layers attached with trees, a pond in the middle and flowers. It was beautiful , half baked lol but beautiful. Only Karen and I knew. I always looked forward to her handmade Christmas cards. To Susie, she loved you so much and was so proud how you handled everything with your mom and she knew how hard it was and is still. She wished she could of helped more, it's hard not being as close home. I had posted a photo of Karen and I on Facebook on July 8th 2012, I had written," I'm so thankful for all my friends ". Karen did not join FB until 2016 and I never seen a reply to our photo that she had posted November 26th 2016 until the morning after she had passed. " People come and go in my life but special friends never go away. Love you all. I'm so lucky" I 'm so sorry that I can not attend the memorial and be with you all, but please know that I will be with you in spirit. I love you Karen, your the first to fly and I know you'll be there waiting until we all will be together again!
